Carrot Pudding

 
 

 

 
 

1 cup grated raw carrots
1 cup grated raw potatoes
1/2 cup seeded raisens
1/2 cup seeded currants
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg and cinnamon
1 teaspoon soda stired in Potatoe
5 tablespoons flour over fruit
5 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoons butter

steam for 3 hrs. in double boiler.

[added on side] 1/2 cup flour or bread crumbs

A double boiler is a saucepan with a shallow pan that fits inside. The bottom pan is filled with water. Delicate ingredients are cooked in the top pan.
